His career in textiles allowed him to establish a strong connection with many local workers and their families. The loss of the mill in 2003 inspired his transition to nonprofit ministry and instilled in him a desire to create solutions for households in financial crisis in our community. Since Ed joined CCM in 2005, CCM has grown to include transitional housing and other new programs and services to meet the nutritional, financial and housing needs of families with children, working age adults in transition and senior adults living alone.
