Caremoor Assisted Living and The Carriage House Family Care Home and Apartments offer enhanced care. Our assisted living facilities provide daily meals, housekeeping services, and help with day-to-day living activities. Residents who require around-the-clock care for acute or chronic illnesses should seek their physician’s advice in choosing the right facility.
For admission into our assisted living or family care accommodations, the Adult Care Home FL2 Form, indicating an assisted living level of care, must be completed and signed by a medical doctor. No documentation is required for our independent senior apartments.
Residents are billed a flat monthly rate for their accommodations and care. This monthly rate is determined based on level of care and accommodation type. Payment is typically due by the 5th of the month. Call us today to discuss your specific needs and to receive an individualized quote.
Unlike many of our competitors, Caremoor does not charge additional usage or add-on fees. Monthly fees are all-inclusive with the exception of any medications, incontinence products, or other personal preference items.
Absolutely! Caremoor offers both private and semi-private rooms, as well as apartments. We strive to accommodate the emotional needs of our residents, not just their health needs. Whenever possible, we accommodate married couples who wish to stay together.
Yes, Caremoor Retirement Community is served by a gerontologist from the staff of Atrium Health Senior Care, who sees patients at our facility on request. A number of our residents choose to retain their own physicians.
Caremoor Retirement Community is a residential assisted living facility. While we are unable to offer around-the-clock supervision by a physician or RN, our trained staff of CNAs, supervisors, and medication technicians are on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to see to our residents’ health and well-being.
Caremoor provides three nutritional meals per day, prepared in accordance with state guidelines and doctors’ orders. We regularly accommodate residents who require diabetic diets or who have other special dietary needs and restrictions. Caremoor Retirement Community assists our residents with scheduled transportation to doctors’ offices, and also provides scheduled transportation for activities — including shopping trips!

The Caremoor campus will continue to deliver their excellent standard of care without changes to present-day operations.
No current residents are being displaced, and will not be asked to leave.
Caremoor will continue to accept new residents for the foreseeable future.
